On this shot we see (from left to right):
• The Hotel Chateau Laurier
• The beginning of the Rideau Canal where the locks are situated to either take the boats up the hill to the canal, or down to the river
• The Parliament and its library
• The Confederation building
and the water in front is the Ottawa River which seperates Ontario/Quebec
